Terms of Use

RadarPal — last updated 19 October 2026

RadarPal is made by TEKBH, Switzerland ("we").

1. The agreement

By using RadarPal you agree to these terms. If you do not, delete the app. If you bought a subscription through Apple, Apple's standard licence agreement (EULA) also applies and, where it conflicts with these terms, Apple's wins.

2. What the app is, and what it is not

RadarPal speaks alerts about speed cameras, speed limits, road hazards, zones and vehicle restrictions, based on third-party map data. It is a driving aid, not a guarantee. Map data can be missing, wrong or out of date: cameras move, limits change, temporary and mobile cameras are not included, and GPS can be inaccurate. A missing alert does not mean there is no camera, hazard or restriction ahead.

3. Where camera alerts are not allowed

Some countries restrict or forbid warning drivers about speed cameras. RadarPal switches camera alerts off, or shows them as general "danger zones", where it knows of such a rule, but laws change and it cannot know every one. It is your responsibility to make sure using the app is legal where you drive.

4. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on devices you own or control. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, and you may not extract its map or alert data.

5. Other people's work

Map and warning data are provided by HERE Technologies and remain theirs. Everything else, the app, its design and its name, belongs to us.

6. Subscriptions

RadarPal Pro is an optional subscription, billed yearly or monthly. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.

7. Changes to the app

We may add, change or remove features and alert types, and the underlying map data changes over time. We will not remove a feature you paid for while your subscription is running, unless we have to for legal or safety reasons.

8. No warranty, and the limit of what we owe you

The app is provided "as is". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will warn you of every camera, hazard or restriction. We are not responsible for fines, penalties, points, damage to vehicles or property, or any other consequence of how you drive. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

9. Ending it

You can stop at any time by deleting the app. We may end your licence if you break these terms.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, and the Swiss courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer you may also bring proceedings where you live.
